After the first night of “The X Factor’s” finale, Simon Cowell tells Access he paid a pretty penny for Howard Stern to be the new judge on “America’s Got Talent.” Also, he weighs in on the backlash for choosing the shock jock to replace Piers Morgan.

My view is that Howard will bring more viewers just to see how is going to act and after they tune in a see Stern is a good judge and is taking in serious they will stick around for the whole season. It’s a win, win for NBC, Simon Cowell and Howard Stern.

I am one of the Apple Fan boys who can’t help but fall for all the rumors. Like most of you who follow Apple rumors i was hoping for the larger faster and new designed Iphone 5 last year and was let down by what we got the Iphone 4S. Not the phone is not very nice, its faster, it has better graphics, better battery and SIRI. How many of you still use SIRI? I use it some but not as much as I did when I first got the phone.

Well let’s get back to what we are here for now. First rumors come for the Washington Post: The Washington Post is say that the iPad 3 will have one major improvement a new kind of HD screen. A source suggests that a new device will be introduced with a 9.7-inch screen, and also expects a January announcement.

I found the January announcement to be a little early. Let go to the next rumor:

This rumor is about the two versions of iPad 3 has been floating around even before the holidays. However, it gained traction after Digitimes reported last week that “Apple is set to unveil two versions of its IPad 3 tablet, one for the high-end segment and one for the mid-range segment.” The new models of iPad 3 will join the iPad 2, demonstrating Apple’s complete iPad series targeting the entry-level, mid-range and high-end market segments, said the report. Barclays Capital also believes that the Cupertino tech-giant may unveil two iPads in 2012. According to one of its analysts, while one model of the iPad 3 will come with better cameras, higher resolution display, an A5 processor and Siri in March, another one will hit the market later this year, featuring a faster processor and 4G LTE. This rumors I can see happening with al the new tablets on the market such as the Kindle Fire being priced at under $200 dollars Apple will want to get an entry level tablet designed towards kids and for schools so they can start them young on the Apple name. While techies and business people will want a high-end version for designing and business both sides will be happy. I would like if Apple would add the Chip for 4G LTE now and we can activate when the carrier has it then have to wait until the end of the year. But I guess we can’t always get want we want.

Face Recognition

Will the next generation iPad recognize users by face? Well, this is what the latest rumors suggest. According to MacRumors, a patent had been filed in 2010 that says a user “profile would be immediately accessed once the iPad recognizes a user’s face.”

The face detection system could be a low-power system that is always active, allowing face detection to be the primary method to unlock your iOS device, the report said.

Siri and Other Features

Other new iPad 3 features are reportedly likely to include Siri, iCloud and iTune Match for cloud-based storage of music, movies and TV shows. According to a Spacelab report, the iPad 3 is also expected to feature plenty of new iPad apps like the upcoming Spotify iPad app.

One rumor being talked about is releasing it on Feb 24th which is Steve Jobs Birthday I really like this idea kind of memorial for one of the greatest minds of our generation.

Well there a lot of rumors going around and its fun the speculate on what the IPad 3 will have, do, or look like but one thing is sure we all will want it.

With a lighted jacket and a screaming arena of fans, Jericho’s return was much like ones from the past. He reveled in the audience’s reaction at first, but then it appeared like he enjoyed it too much as he tried to continue chants, screamed for the crowd to get louder and did not speak into the microphone. Jericho left WWE fans confused and upset. Even though he remained happy, he did not say a word and simply walked out of the arena. It seemed like the start of a new storyline arc for Jericho as the WWE Universe was left waiting until next week to find out more about his plans.

I feel like this is WWE droping the ball I would have had the light go black during the World Title match and attack both men the put the title belt on Punk chest and laugh while saying BEST IN THE WORLD Yeah Right. We all now this is where its going so plant the seed now. Maybe he will bring in more wrestlers to make a stabe of returning guys (Lesner, Clay etc..)  and speaking of Clay what in the hell is the WWE doing with this kid.

Could Y2J be the Mystery Force

Sources inside the WWE are saying that Chris Jericho will appear as the Mystery Force on Monday Night’s Raw from Memphis TN on Jan 2 2012. Jericho is saying he is finished with the WWE. So is this a smoke screen from the WWE or from Jericho one or both could be lying and it will be someone else. But all things or pointing to a Chris Jericho return.

In my view not saying that have Jericho back in the WWE wouldn’t be great but most saw this as the person from the beginning. I wish we could get  the best of both worlds and get Jericho back but he is a part of the Force’s plan to taking over

Well we have the Newest clip and we are still have no more clue who this is then we did before. Let’s hope that WWE doesn’t drop the ball on this like they have done before. The Anonymous Raw General Manager, the Death of Vince, the many faces of Kane, and the WCW invasion angle that could have been as big as the NWO was in the beginning if they played it right. I also hope that it’s not a bait and switch like the old WCW used to do on Nitro and Thunder. Well any way you look at it we are all glued to our TV waiting for the promos, and searching the Internet for clues.

Over the weekend I thought about where the angle could go.  You can mark this down as an off the wall choice but hey no different than anyone else. What if the little boy is Vince and the little girl is Dixie Carter and Vince is buying TNA and the  sales go through on Jan 2 2012. What made me think this is that in the 5th promo she said  ” I Can’t Help you anymore” Dixie has always said she wants to help TNA bring wrestling back. So this might be the way of handing the company over to Vince. I know don’t roll your eyes its far fetched but so is Hulk Hogan coming back with the NWO and I have heard that too.

Either way we all will be watching this Monday Night January 2 2012 on RAW at 9pm est/ 8pm cst on the USA Network.

I said it in the beginning and I am going to stick with that it is Vince or Shane taking the company back.

I think most believe it’s going to believe it’s going to be Chris Jericho as the mystery force behind WWE’s It Begins Promos, but who are the other possible choices?

10. Kurt Angle – Yes he is still in TNA and I am not sure of his contract with them but he has claimed He is the best wrestler is the world. The WWE would make a big deal out of his return but it would be a long shot.

9. The Rock as a Heel- The WWE needs something to happen to make the Rock vs Cena feud to be exciting like turn one of the two heel but not sure if  “Dwayne” would want to do this when he has big movies set to debut.

8.  Batista- Big Dave has been bad mouthing the WWE on Twitter as of late on the Championship decisions of making Daniel Bryan WHC and he has held that title before so the “coming back claim what’s his” could be setup a feud with Bryan. Not sure what kind of shape he is in for a return but this is one likely candidate.

7.  Brock Lesnar- He has voiced interest in return and he was added to the WWE 12 Video Game but he is still under contract with the UFC. Let see how he does in his match with Overeem if he gets KOed he might back in the WWE on the following RAW

6. Brodus Clay- WWE might try to pull a quick one and have show up on January 2nd to throw us off, but you still have consider him. He had his own Promos before so he is a long shot but who knows with these writers.

5. Skip Sheffield aka RyBack- With the some of the crazy tweets as of late which have now been deleted and the Ryback gimmick being a Terminator type figure and Terminator is all about the “end of the world as we now it” he has to be in conversation but I feel that a lot of fans would really let down.

4. Undertaker – Well I hope not but this has his markings all over it. Dark meanings, riddles, and end of the world stuff, but i feel that fans would let down by Taker too.

3. Evolution reunion This is a kind of new theory but one we should look at.  At first some thought that we would have a NWO reunion but why not an Evolution return. It could setup two heel turns (HHH and Orton) a return for Batista a program with Undertaker Wrestlemania which looks like where they are going. Also they can try to recruit people such as Punk or Cena setting future feuds when they say NO. (kind of like Sting and the Horsemen) Also they have a girl tried to them Steph.

2. John Cena Heel turn – WWE has hinted at this for a while but nothing as came of it but I changed my mind when at SummerSlam Stephanie came out of Cena’s Locker room with no explanation. This could tie him to a girl and his heel turn would shock all the little kids “changing the world as we know” and “I can’t help you anymore” could be to the fans meaning he has always said he has done it for the fans now he can say he is doing for ME.

1. a tie Vince Mcmahon or Attitude Era returns- The reason why I made it a tie is because both could happen. As said in my other post on this Click here to see. I Feel that Vince is the Little Boy and Linda is the Little girl giving him his power back. This is my number one guess and Jericho number 2. Vince has built-in feuds when he comes back with Punk, Cena, the Fans and the WWE itself for taking his job. Also the Little Boy is dressed like Vince and has the same haircut.

With all that said i am like a kid in a candy store or because of the season a Kid on Christmas morning I CANT WAIT

Javier Grillo-Marxuach, former writer and producer of Lost said Hurley’s backstory was the hardest to come up with. his character was not a dark character so it was hard to come up with a dramatic storyline. Hurley’s backstory changed a lot.

Jobs innovations of the IPod, IPhone, and IPad have changed the way we all consume media. I personally have a love for all Apple products. The Itouch changed my view on all of Apple’s products when I got it I wasnt a fan of Apple after that day all that changed I now own most of Apple’s equipment for the iPhone to AppleTV and Macs and beyond. I am so happy to see that Steve is being remember for the things that made him good nad not for anything bad.

In America we sometimes chop down our leaders until they fall and fall hard but let’s celebrate with the Grammy I life that changed us all

My View: Man this is getting good wrestling needs this kind of shot in the arm. WWE get some press when CM Punk started his pipe bomb promos and retirement angle but the Creative team drop the ball on that. So let hope for our sake that they don’t do that again and this angle has a great payoff. I still feel its Vince and Linda giving him back control of the company or that its Chris Jericho and the little girl is Punk as the red-headed step child. ECW Arena

Over the years we have lost many great wrestling venues. Irish McNeil Boys Club in Shreveport, LA home to Mid South Wrestling, the Sportatorium in Dallas, TX home of World Class Championship Wrestling and the Mid South Coliseum in Memphis, TN just to name a few. But they were all either burned down, demolished, or to ran do to stay open.

Now in his most recent article Tommy Dreamer discussed the end of wrestling at the ECW Arena.

“Apparently new ownership is coming in and its brass wants to make the arena a venue for larger events, such as concerts and the like. On top of that, they apparently don’t want to host professional wrestling or boxing shows there anymore. Financially, to me, that makes zero sense. If I were a building owner, I would want to have as many renters come into my establishment as humanly possible so I can make money.”

My view: This is harder to take then the others because it’s not closing, or lose to a fire or just old the new owner just think wrestling is beneath them. It’s hard because the fans of ECW and all wrestling that’s been at the venue of the years can still drive by and see it they can still hear the cheers. I know that it hurt me when I found out about the Irish McNeil Boys Club I grow up watching wrestling there and seeing it everyday Saturday or sunday mornings but I can’t see it and morn.

Big Show VS Shaq @ Wrestlemania 28

Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal told  Abe Kanan of Howard 101 on Sirius satellite radio on Wednesday that he is in talks with WWE regarding a potential match against Big Show at WrestleMania 28.

My view: Well Shaq has been a life long fan of Wrestling and has been in a few matches with both WCW and WWE over the years adn he is good on the mic so I think its a good fit for Wrestlemania. Long term not so much Shaq’s body couldn’t hold up the bumps of an everyday wrestling schedule even though I feel he would love to try.

If you are a WWE fan are a least a wrestling fan you have heard about the JAN 2 2012 Promos. There has been a lot of speculation on who it will be. Chris Jericho, the Undertaker, Shane and Stephanie, NWO, the list goes on and on…

But I feel that this might mean more than what we see. Linda McMahon is the CEO of the WWE so she can be the she that’s talked about and she can end the PG era and bring back the Attitude era and or Bring back Vince into power. She was out on the campaign trail while the PG era started and now that, that is over she can come back to the company and fix the problems. WWE Board has ran wild while she was gone. Vince was fired, Triple H was demoted and Johnny “Ace” Laurinaitis is acting GM of Raw. Let’s not forget the Mysterious Raw GM that we never found out about. 

Well that’s just one of the Theories another is its Vince himself. The more I think about it the more sense it makes. It never says it’s a person. “look with in” could mean look with in the company, Vince was sent to the corner for his actions, now he will return to fix all this unsafe work place crap. “I can not help you now” could mean he is not the “man” but is the GM so he can’t help them but they will pay as he will bring back the attitude era hence the new faces that come. Undertaker, Jericho, Masked Kane, etc. Kane was the 1st.

According to the Defense Department, President Obama phoned President Lee Myung-bak of South Korea, after word of Kim’s death became public:

“The president reaffirmed the United States’ strong commitment to the stability of the Korean Peninsula and the security of our close ally, the Republic of Korea. The two leaders agreed to stay in close touch as the situation develops and agreed they would direct their national security teams to continue close coordination.”

While South Korean officials have indicated they’ve put their armed forces on a higher level of alert, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey told reports traveling with him in Europe that’s not the case with the United States. Dempsey said America and its allies haven’t noticed anything…

“…in North Korean behavior of a nature that would alarm us.”

According to the Department of Defense, North Korea has developed both missile technology and has nuclear capabilities.

Drew Brees threw for 412 yards and 5 touchdowns to lead the  Saints to their sixth win in a row, over the lowly Vikings on Sunday.

Brees completed 32 of 40 passes to help the Saints (11-3) overcome a slow start to stay 2 games ahead of  “The Dirty Birds” in the NFC South. With a Monday night meeting coming next week.

“I’m as comfortable now in this offense as I’ve ever been,” said Brees, who credited the team’s stability in the front office, the coaching staff and the roster with his success this season.

His latest masterpiece has him breathing down Dan Marino’s neck in the record books, just 304 yards away from the Hall of Famer’s single-season passing record set in 1984.

“I’m aware that we’re close,” Brees said. “I just know if we keep doing what we’re doing all of that stuff will take care of itself.”

The Current Passing Stats to chase of the single season record are:

The Air Force Times received a copy of the photo via email, with the caption, “Da Dumpt, Da Dumpt …. Sucks 2 Be U.” The casket is similar to those used to send deceased U.S. soldiers home from the battlefield.

Air Force Secretary Michael Donley was quoted:

“We take this matter seriously. [Air Education and Training Command] has initiated a commander directed investigation,”

“Such behavior is not consistent with our core values, and it is not representative of the Airmen I know. It saddens me that this may cause additional grief to the families of our fallen warriors.”

In my view point as a former member of the Armed Forces this type of prank shouldn’t be allowed. I know what our brave men and women of the Armed Forces go through on a daily basis is unbelievable but for these few men and women to take that and spit on all the hard work that our soldiers do is just shameful.

Well the buzz about Facebook TimeLine has been at an all-time high. After months of previewing the new look to developers Facebook has officially rolled out the Timeline layout for everyone. Facebook is giving its users 7 days to decide what they want to post to Timeline before its open to everyone to see. So if back in 2007 you got drunk and posted pics or you might have said something about a coworker that you thought would never come back up you might want to go through all your old posts this week.

The new layout displays stories — statuses, pictures, shared links, notes, etc. — that branch off of a center line. Facebook has added some events to user timelines based on information it already has from profiles, such as the year users graduated college or started new jobs.

I don’t like the idea but many do and more don’t. I feel like if its not broke don’t fix it and Facebook has been so good the way it has been since its beginning I am not sure why the change. But hey some like change and this is change.  Let’s see in the coming weeks what we all have to say about it.

Unprotected picks allow the team to get any draft #. The Pick is theirs no matter if it’s a lottery pick or not. A protected pick will give that pick unless it’s a top 3.

For example say the Clippers sent a protected pick to the Hornets for someone. The Hornets would have to wait till the following year if it was a lottery pick. In a unprotected pick, they get it no matter what.

The king takes his Throne on America's Got Talent

After weeks of speculation, Howard Stern announced on his SiriusXM show that he will be joining NBC’s America’s Got Talent as a judge. Stern will replace  host Piers Morgan on AGT the talent show will move its taping to New York City to accommodate the “King of All Media.”

The news was also announced on @SternShow Twitter account, “It’s official – Howard just signed on the dotted line – he is now the newest judge on America’s Got Talent!” and “Howard says he’ll start shooting in February and actually be traveling the country to do the audition rounds.”

Howard will joining Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne as judges on the number 1 rated show on NBC this summer.  Looks like we are in for a roller coaster ride this summer.

I am thinking that a lot people are going to tune in to see Howard act crazy or says dirty stuff and that’s not what Howard is going to do. If you listen to his show he takes everything he does seriously. This will be no different he has talked for years about being a judge on AGT and American Idol, which he was rumor to be a judge last season, and he has said that had would be tough but fair which is what Morgan and Simon Cowell both were famous for. So if you are waiting to see Stern just be what he is on his radio show you might just end up being disappointed.

Meloni Brings Law and Order to Bon Temps

Well if you miss him on Law & Order Christopher Meloni is back as an ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands.  Meloni will also be a series regular during the fifth season of  True Blood.  This will not be his first time on a HBO series he was also on the prison drama OZ, but he is best known for his role as Detective Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for past 12 seasons. After a bitter salary negotiation with NBC the two sides could not come to an agreement and he walked away for the show.

Well this makes the fans of the actor and True Blood both happy to see him on the up coming season set to premiere in June 2012.

Chris Paul GoodBye

Well it’s been a long a winding road for the NBA this off season but has been worse for the fans of the “New Orleans” Hornets. First they don’t have an owner, they are being ran by the NBA which really wants to sell the team no matter what David Stern says. He is so hated that he has passed up Howard as the most hated Stern. In my opinion Paul would have never been traded if not for the crazy outcall of protest of fans and the media coming down on the Commish the last few days. I feel that Stern and the league wanted to keep Paul on the Hornets so that a big market suitor would look at the team as a better buy. If the trade didn’t go thru the team would have lost Paul and any type of compensation for him. Yes the Hornets will still be the worse team in the league but they got younger and help in the front court the team  has been needing.

Here is the trade details:The Clippers acquired Paul and the Hornets get Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and the unprotected No. 1 draft pick they had received from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Gordon, who averaged 22.3 points last season, is one of the best shooting guards in the league. Kaman is a solid center who averaged 12.4 points and seven rebounds last season, and Aminu is a second-year forward who averaged 5.6 points in 18 minutes a game as a rookie. We will see what the Draft pick brings.

As you probably know by now, Justin Bieber’s hits stores on Tuesday. What you may not be aware of is the role Perez Hilton played in the making of it.

When MTV News spoke to the blogger-turned-music mogul backstage at his high-profile South by Southwest party,he explained his connection to the teen-pop sensation. And he professed his undying admiration for all things Bieber-y.

“People won’t believe this, but it’s true. I was into Justin Bieber two years ago, because I discovered him on YouTube, but I wasn’t in a position to do anything, because I didn’t have a record label back then,” Hilton said. “Thankfully, I told other people about Justin Bieber back then. So I didn’t just keep it to myself. I didn’t post it on my Web site or anything, but I did talk about it, because it was the beginning of the conversations of me doing something with music, so I was hoping I could do something with him in the future, but it didn’t pan out. … But I love Justin Bieber.”

So how is Hilton linked to My World 2.0 Turns out, the connection is Los Angeles-based production team Stereotypes, who played a new song for Hilton.

“It’s actually not even six degrees, it’s one degree of Perez on his new album, because I’m so involved in music now, and I’m working with a lot of artists, I’ve been meeting with a lot of producers,” he explained. “I met with this camp in the Valley, they’re called Stereotypes. They’re these up-and-coming producers, and they played me a lot of their music, and one of their songs, the first time I heard it, I was like, ‘This is a smash. This is a huge hit.’ And then I started thinking, ‘This might be a great song for Justin Bieber.’ So I sent it over to JB’s camp. Justin loved it. They recorded the song, it’s going to be on his new album, and it’s going to be a huge hit for him. The song’s called ‘Somebody to Love.’ ”

So, if on Tuesday, you’re grooving to My World 2.0 remember to give thanks to Perez Hilton. After all, he’s just one little part of Bieber’s success. Sort of.

“What can I say?” Hilton laughed. “I make things happen.”

Chris Evans was a late addition to the roster of potential leads, but he had already established himself as a comic-book hero by playing the Human Torch in the two “Fantastic Four” movies.

While fans have expressed their doubts at some of the candidates for the role, response to Evans has been positive. His performance as Johnny Storm in “Fantastic Four” and “Rise of the Silver Surfer” were widely considered to be the best parts of those movies. It’s been rumored Evans will sign a multi-picture contract that could see him appear as Captain America in multiple films, both on his own and with the Avengers.

Production on “The First Avenger” will begin in June. Hugo Weaving is in talks to play Captain America’s nemesis, the Red Skull. . “Captain America” is scheduled to open on July 22, 2011.

Its there a funny show on TV right now. I think not!! Not since Seinfeld has TV been this funny. About to finish it’s 7th season Larry adn gang are just as funny as they were at the begining, what makes it so much more funny is think that George Costanza is Larry David. The episodes this season have been classic, and we are finally getting our Seinfeld reunion. Man I can’t wait.

Well for all of us who are Curb fans: TV Land and TV Guide Network have announced they will be acquiring basic cable rights to the  series Curb Your Enthusiasm. Curb Your Enthusiasm has gained a lot of media attention this season. The show will feature a Seinfeld reunion eleven years in the making. Curb Your Enthusiasm will begin airing in February 2010.

Well sort of… She wasn’t the Terminator but Leven Rambin of The Sarah Connor Chronicles posted on her Twitter that she was filming an episode of ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ this week, adding: “I’m coming for McSteamy!” Later the same day the twitter was removed and replaced with info on her first day on the set, but it makes one think McSteamy and Lil Grey might have some rocky roads ahead.

Well the episode we all have been waiting for from the ABC show FlashForward finally came. Gimme Some Truth did just that,  gave us what we have been wanting…  suspense, action, good story lines and character development. As you guys know I love LOST and this was a LOST worthy episode.  ABC has picked up FlashForward for a full season.

The  LOST wannabe and a solid performer on Thursday night, boosting ABC’s 8/7  pm time period 32 percent over last year. More impressive, its polit episode was the first regular program since Friends to beat Survivor in the coveted 18-49 demo.

ABC ordered an additional12 episodes of the show, bringing its season 1 total to 25.

All I can say is that is was okay I hope that FF turns it around. Please have Mary and our son Boston in your thought both have been sick all week.

Macy’s invited FOX’s GLEE choir to perform Don’t Stop Believing on the Their float at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Which in my opinion would have be Awesome, But NBC had something else in mind. NBC who has fall in the rating over the last few years does not want a competing network’s show on their network during the parade.  NBC had never care in the past when the department store chain invited winners from “American Idol” (also a Fox show) to perform at the parade. Ditto when Macy’s invited cast members from Disney Channel’s “High School Musical.” So why GLEE and why now it has to be the ratings war that all NETWORK TV companies are going through. Network TV is not just battling each other but cable TV also.  So what are your thoughts on this do you want to see GLEE or you agree with NBC Let us know.

Well its EP 2 and not much more then we knew last week about the “Blackouts” and the “FlashForwards”.  We did learn that there are at least 2 people who didnt blackout. Something is up with what the kids saw they seem to have seen something different then the adults. This must be a key to the overall mythology. What do you think of the kids flashforwards?

Well we got to see the real D. Gibbons she is just not the one we wanted to see. Also doesn’t it seem that Lloyd is a part of this. He said tonight that he didn’t remember Olivia but you would remember a new person plus one half naked if you had a vision of the future. So I believe he didn’t have a vision because he was one of the ones who didn’t blackout.  Could they be THE TRUTH HACK maybe? Let me know what you think.

Didn’t you find it unbelievable that they lived through a blast like what happen in the doll factory in Utah? Also the guy used a ide cable to make a line mind. LOL

And what do you take from what the Fake D. Gibbons said ” He who for sees calamities suffers them twice over”  and the crazy kids song that was playing both when Charlie is playing blackout with the kids and in the doll factory?

Also I think Theo from 2min17sec.blogspot.com came up with it 1st but why would someone be having a ultra sound at 10pm at night  like Janice Hawk.

Well I give this week a 3 out of 5 stars, its keeping my interest. I am liking where they are going as long as it doesn’t go over a cliff or should I dare said JUMP THE SHARK.

Well when I thought that Glee had given us great lines like ” I really don’t have good gag reflexes” ” Don’t worry you’ll be happy about that when you older” and the greatest version of “PUSH IT” ever and last weeks show all I have to say about that is THE BEST TEAM DANCE EVER. But this week’s line my also be in the top five ” Show me your over the shoulder boulder holder” had me laughing on the floor and I still get a little giggle in my chest just thinking about it!

Well Kind of !! The biggest name on this year Ultimate Fighter lost his first fight on national TV by TKO and didn’t even put on a good fight. Not saying Big Country Roy Nelson is not a good fighter but in the words of Dana White ” he did just enough to win and not get hit.”  I feel that if Roy and Kimbo would have meet on PPV that their paydays would of been high but us as viewers would have been low because of the fight both guys put on. Dana White said ” It was like let is little girl hold me down and hit over and over.”  Kimbo or Roy are not ready for UFC.  Well no one on the years show has shown anything that would prove that any of the competitors are ready for the Octagon.

So what are your thoughts of SNL’s  big start to the new season. Jenny Slate during a parody of a talk show by biker women called “Biker Chick Chat” she let out the one dreaded word that networks and the mostly the FCC has a cow about. So far no comment has came from NBC, other than to say the word had been restored to the intended “freakin’” for the show’s West Coast viewing.  First I have to defend Slate, the writers of the sketch wrote to have “freakin” used about 20 to 30 times. So a slip up was possible of  happening.  In my view this was the only thing that made the Megen Fox hosted SNL worth talking about. Fox was terrible in all her sketches. So I hope the SNL and NBC will not be to hard on Slate.

Well it’s finally here ABC’s most talked about replacement for LOST. Well what do you think can it take the place of LOST? Can it live up to the hype, or will it just be another one and done?

The jury is still out, I am not sure what to think yet. I am a very big fan of the book and it seems they are going in a totally different direction.

There was a lot of LOST Easter eggs which was cool. Did you see them? Which ones did you catch? One was the Oceanic sign 30 years and no accidents.

So any theories yet? Who are you looking forward to the most to get to know? I did like they put Lloyd in the show.

Rafael dos Anjos vs. Robert Emerson
Round 1
Dos Anjos, from a southpaw stance, lands a nice leg kick to open the fight. He shoots but Emerson defends well and gets back to the center to the cage. Emerson fighting more of a counter-striking style while dos Anjos is initiating more of the action. Dos Anjos lands a nice left hook to the jaw of Emerson but he shakes it off. Emerson defends another shot by pushing dos Anjos head down and retreating from danger. Dos Anjos is in on a single but Emerson grabs a whizzer trying to stave off the attempt but this time dos Anjos gets it. With only a few seconds left in the round, dos Anjos grounds and pounds to the bell

Round 2
Dos Anjos decisioned Emerson.Dos Anjos kicking to the legs of Emerson, they are starting to take a toll. Emerson finally checks a kick and lands a straight right hand and another. Emerson has found an effective attack and scores with yet another right. Dos Anjos shoots but Emerson defends. Emerson defends another takedown, dos Anjos ducked under a right hand but Emerson sprawled. A big inside leg kick to Emerson’s lead left leg from dos Anjos backs up the Californian. Dos Anjos presses him against the cage as the 10-second warning sounds.

Round 3
After a brief exchange to start the third dos Anjos gets in deep on a shot. Emerson sprawls but he cannot defend and is pulled to the canvas along the cage. Dos Anjos tries to take his back and gets a hook in before attempting a choke that Emerson defends by turning back into him. Emerson gets his guard back but dos Anjos is dropping punches and elbows from the top. Emerson pushes dos Anjos back with his legs and tries to stand but the Brazilian dives back into his guard before passing to half and then side-control. Emerson escapes back to his feet but dos Anjos grabs double underhooks and presses him against the cage. Emerson frees himself from dos Anjos’ clutches but finds himself on the receiving end of yet another brutal inside leg-kick. An exhausted Emerson is throwing single right hands looking for the finish but dos Anjos keeps landing the inside leg-kick to Emerson’s lead leg before circling away. The round comes to a close with Emerson still chasing the elusive dos Anjos.

All three official judges score it 30-27 for dos Anjos, who takes the unanimous decision.

Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Igor Pokrajac
Round 1
Pokrajac throwing leg kicks early and after a couple Matyushenko gets the timing down and blasts the Croat with a big right hand over the top. Matyushenko, standing upright, doubles up on the jab. Pokrajac wades in with punches and stuns Matyushenko with a combination. He rushes after him hoping to finish but the veteran wrestler ducks under and takes him to the mat. Matyushenko stands and controls the legs of Pokrajac before jumping back to the ground. He quickly moves to mount but Pokrajac gives up his back. Matyushenko tries for the choke but is bucked off and mounted himself as the round closes.

Round 2
Matyushenko lunges in with a jab and finds his mark. Pokrajac answers with punches of his own. Matyushenko, bleeding from the nose, lands a nice straight right-left hook combo that rattles the Croat. The fighters are exchanging heavy blows in the center of the cage with Matyushenko getting the better shots in. He takes Pokrajac to the mat and punches from the top. He pins his arm with a leg and punches to his defenseless opponent. Pokrajac defends the position but has his back taken. Matyushenko cannot sink the choke and Pokrajac gets back to his feet but has to defend a guillotine.

Round 3
Pokrajac throws a sloppy right leg kick to Matyushenko’s lead leg and pays for it when he is clipped with a big right hand. Matyushenko shoots and is briefly stuffed before finishing the takedown. With little action, referee Leon Roberts stands the fighters up. Matyushenko grinds Pokrajac up against the cage but again the referee breaks them after a lull. Pokrajac gets his first takedown from another clinch but Matyushenko sweeps him right away. The fight ends with Matyushenko on top.

Matyushenko takes a unanimous decision with scores of 30-27 on all three of the official judges’ scorecards.

Eliot Marshall vs. Jason Brilz
Round 1
Brilz is moving forward while Marshall circles round the outside throwing jabs. Marshall plants and throws a three-punch combination that had Brilz ducking for a shot. Marshall retreats out of range and the fighters reset in the center of the Octagon. Brilz finally shoots but Marshall defends. Brilz shoots under another jab from Marshall but he is again denied. Marshall throws a weak head kick and Brilz rushes forward, pinning him against the cage at the horn.

Round 2
Marshall is showing off some impressive takedown defense again in round two. Brilz is in deep on a single but Marshall shows good balance and patience as he fights his way free of Brilz. The big Nebraskan pushes Marshall against the cage and works some knees to the thighs but one gets Marshall right in the groin. Replays show the left knee landing square on the cup of Marshall. After a quick respite, the Coloradan is ready to continue. Brilz continues to try to take the fight to the mat but Marshall proves too tough to ground. Marshall lands a nice counter right as Brilz chucks and ducks for another takedown. Brilz lands a couple shots, his first significant ones of the round, at the close of the second.

Round 3
Brilz just can’t get Marshall to the mat. He pushes his way into a clinch and tries to drop for the takedown but is stuff yet again. Brilz pushes Marshall against the cage but little action ensues. Brilz winging big rights now as the desperation sets in. He needs a finish and is fighting like he knows it. Brilz shoots again but is denied again. Marshall grabs double unders along the cage and slips away from Brilz. Another weak shot is defended and Marshall lands a two piece combo on an advancing Brilz. Brilz slugs away at the 10-second warning but it is too little too late.

Official scores are 30-28 Brilz and 30-27 (twice) for Marshall, who takes the split decision. However, the official scoresheet for the contest declaes scores of 30-27 (twice) for Marshall and 30-27 for Brilz.

Ricky Story vs. Brian Foster
Round 1
Story and Foster are slugging it out right from the get go. Foster lands a right hand that stumbles Story but he manages to stay on his feet. Foster throws him to the mat but Story takes top position when Foster misses on a guillotine. Story passes but Foster manages to get to his feet. Story will not let go of a body-lock and takes him back to the mat. Story is bleeding from the nose pretty good. Story trying to pass from half to mount but he is denied. Story punching from the top as he continues to try to advance his position. Foster gets his guard back but Story lands a punch that starts the blood flowing from his nose now. Foster is back up for a second but Story takes it back to the mat. Foster makes it back up again and the fighter exchange heavy shots once again. Both fighters are bloody as the round closes.

Round 2
The fighters slug it out some more to open round two. Story ducks under during the exchange and hits a single-leg takedown. He moves from his guard and locks up an arm-triangle that forces Foster to tap at 1:09 of the second round.

Nik Lentz vs. Rafaello Oliveira
Round 1
The fighters trade leg-kicks and Oliveira adds another one. Oliveira hurts Lentz with a punch and rushes in. He has to defend a guillotine but Lentz cannot get his guard making it academic for Oliveira. With the fighters back on their feet, Lentz stops a takedown and jumps to another guillotine. Oliveira slams him to the mat and breaks the hold. Lentz finding his range on his punches now, he lands a nice combination that has Oliveira reeling. He pushes him against the cage and takes him to the canvas with a double at the horn.

Round 2
Lentz, feeling more comfortable as the fight wears on, begins round two with a pair of right leg-kicks, one to the body and one to the head of Oliveira. Lentz pushing the pace this round, he pushes Oliveira against the cage and pops him with a nice right hand. Oliveira answers with a right of his own. Oliveira takes Lentz to the mat along the cage and tries to wrest control of the fight back from his opponent. Oliveira trying to mount but gets put back in guard. Lentz takes top position in a scramble only to be put back on bottom by Oliveira. Lentz is back on his feet but looks to be tiring. He is bleeding pretty good from his mouth.

Round 3
Lentz still charging forward as the third gets under way. Oliveira changes levels and grabs hold of the wrestler taking him to the mat in sloppy fashion. Oliveira goes to work in the guard, landing punches and looking to pass. Lentz uses the cage to get back to his feet and resumes his forward movement. Oliveira stops him dead in his tracks with a stiff right hand but Lentz is undeterred. He takes Oliveira to the mat, again sloppily. The men trade punches with Lentz firing down to the body and head while Oliveira counters with backfists. Lentz punishing Oliveira from half-guard with both right and left hands while trapping his opponent’s left arm with his leg. Oliveira lands an upkick in the rounds closing seconds but it should not be enough to sway the judges.

The official cards read 29-28 (twice) and 30-27 for thew winner by unanimous decision, Nik Lentz.

Jim Miller vs. Steve Lopez
Round 1
Miller firing from his normal southpaw stance attacks early with punches. Lopez, also a southpaw returns the favor. Miller catches the lanky Lopez with a punch that wobbles him but he smiles and shakes it off. Miller winces during an exchange and paws at his left eye as if he was poked but he does not stop fighting. Miller lands a high kick and goes back to rubbing his eye with his hand. Perhaps sensing some urgency, Miller unloads a flurry and drops Lopez with a left. He rushes in to finish and locks up a guillotine along the cage. Lopez does well to defend but as soon as he is out he starts eating leather. Miller, working in the guard delivers some big left hands. Lopez remains calm and utilizes his guard to limit the damage from Miller. With just seconds left, Miller sits back for a leg-lock but doesn’t come close. Lopez gets up but with no time left on the clock.

Round 2
There is little happening in the second round when Lopez waves to referee Don Turnage that he cannot continue. There were a couple of exchanges but nothing really landed. Replays show Lopez’s shoulder dislocated when he threw a punch. Jim Miller wins by TKO at 48 seconds of round two.

Drew McFedries vs. Tomasz Drwal
Round 1
lead leg. McFedries is really loading up on his punches as he unloads with both hands. Drwal answers with a left hook that opens a small cut above the right eye of McFedries. Drwal lands a snapping low kick and enters into a clinch with his dangerous opponent. Drwal, while standing, takes the back of McFedries. He winds up heavy knees and connects them with the left thigh of his foe. The fighters separate and go toe-to-toe with punches. Drwal gets the better of the exchange as McFedries is already gassed out. Drwal gets a takedown and moves to mount. Drwal unloads and forces McFedries to give up his back to avoid punishment.

Round 2
Drawl roughs McFedries up with a series of straight-punching combinations. Drwal gets a takedown and moves to side control. Drwal advances to mount and McFedries offers nothing to resist. Drwal takes the back and secures a tapout at the 1:03 mark of round one from a rear- choke.

Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller
Round 1
Escudero circles away from his taller opponent. Miller is effectively using his reach in the center of the Octagon as he uses his jab and straight right hand. Escudero scores a single-leg takedown, but he does not follow his opponent to the floor. Miller stands and seems a little trigger shy as he pulls two punches. Miller lands a knee and misses a spinning-back kick. Miller connects with a teep kick and Escudero slams him to the floor. Miller stands and is belted by a right hook. Miller crumbles and Escudero unloads on the downed fighter with two right hands and a left. Referee Yves Lavigne steps in to save the American Top Team product at 3:36 of round one.

Tyson Griffin vs. Hermes Franca
Round 1
Griffin lands two hard low kicks to start the fight. Griffin sneaks a jab through the defense of the Brazilian. Griffin takes the center of the cage with his back foot and throws his jab and right hand while Franca circles. The Xtreme Couture fighter continues to abuse the left leg of Franca with low kicks. Griffin connects to the body with a straight right. The American has doubled up on his jab for the first time of the fight. Griffin peppered the BJJ black belt throughout the first frame, but the crowd was displeased with the pace of the action.

Round 2
Griffin stays behind his jab to start the second stanza. Griffin clips Franca with a right hand and a toughman-like brawl ensues. Griffin mixes in a kick to the body with his haymakers and Franca catches it. Franca holds the leg and throws his right hook nonstop to the head. Griffin does little to trump his free-swinging opponent, as he throws his right hand exclusively until Franca lets go of the leg. Technique returns to the bout as Griffin drops Franca with a right straight. Griffin swarms and absolutely tees off on his prey. Franca is taking heavy shots, but he’s trying to catch Griffin in an armbar. Franca goes for the heel and Griffin has none of it. He keeps punching until Franca goes limp. Referee Dan Miragliotta steps in at 3:26 of round two.

Josh Koscheck vs. Frank Trigg
Round 1
Trigg lands the first meaningful shot of the fight after a period of long distance striking. A left straight clips Koscheck on the right eye. Two right hooks drop Trigg to the floor. Koscheck follows Trigg to the floor and pounds him out with four powerful right hands. Leon Roberts halts the contest at 1:25 of the first period.

Martin Kampmann vs. Paul Daley
Round 1
Kampmann opens up with a punching flurry, but nothing lands clean. Daley stands tight in the pocket and counter punches effectively. Kampmann is rocked from a Daley right hand. Crisp, technical striking is on display in this contest. Kampmann attempts a single and Daley shrugs him off. Daley blasts Kampmann with a left and a right. Kampmann answers the assult with a right hook of his own. Both fighters are landing at a good pace as they trade punches. Daley hurts Kampmann with a left hook. Kampmann stumbles back to the fence and Daley unleashes both hands to the head. Referee Yves Lavigne steps in for an awful premature stoppage at 2:31 of the first.

Junior dos Santos vs. Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic
Round 1
Dos Santos lets his hands fly and backs Cro Cop up against the cage. Cro Cop defends his way off the cage and lands a kick to the right side of Cigano’s body. And another. Cigano is applying pressure with punching flurries, but nothing is landing clean. Finally a right hand gets through. Cigano explodes with punches, but Cro Cop is game. Cro Cop is sporting a lump over his right eye. He shoots for a single and fails as Cigano backs away. The Croatian goes to the clinch and briefly throws Cigano to the floor. The Brazilian is cut over both eyes. Cro Cop lands a sharp left straight that rocks Cigano’s frame. Cro Cop is starting to land. Cigano attacks with an uppercut and Cro Cop covers up well. Cro Cop’s defensive strategy is clear: he’s covering up and staying stationary instead of moving away. Cro Cop gets in another left at the horn.

Round 2
Cro Cop fires a head kick that comes up short. Cro Cop lands a stinging low kick and Cigano belts him with a left hook. Cigano charges while unloading. Cro Cop shows good defense, but he’s not answering. Cigano continues to attack and lands an uppercut. Cro Cop covers and pushes him away when he gets close. Cro Cop misses another headkick. Cigano lands a stiff-left hand to the midsection. The crowd is starting to boo as Cro Cop does nothing. The fighters clinch and Cro Cop lands a left knee to the body. Cigano answers it with a knee of his own. The Brazilian falls to the canvas as Cro Cop lands a kick directly on the groin protector. Referee Dan Miragliotta gives dos Santos five minutes to recover. Dos Santos opens up a cut above the left eye of Cro Cop with a right hook. Cigano also connects with a body kick to end the round.

Round 3
Cro Cop comes forward and lands a straight left. And another. Dos Santos is not phased. He answers with a solid body shot from his right hand. Dos Santos lands three knees to the body and a left hook. Another knee crushes Cro Cop’s body and he’s hurt. Cigano goes to the head with a knee and the Pride veteran is wobbly. Cigano continues the torrent of punishment with knees to the body. Cigano lands a right hand to the left eye of Cro Cop and the Croatian quits. The fight is over. Cro Cop took the punch directly on the eye and then waved to referee Miragliotta that he was done. The official time is 2:00 of round three.

Rich Franklin vs. Vitor Belfort
Round 1
Belfort makes the first move with a low kick. Franklin checks it. Franklin moves in and out of range as Belfort stays planted; his left hand cocked and loaded. At the midway point of round one, not one meaningful strike has found its target. The crowd is growing restless. A left hand to the temple knocks Franklin down to his knees. Belfort lands another left hook and finishes the Ohioan with punches from both hands. Referee Yves Lavigne steps in at 3:02 of round one.

So are you doing LOST University? I enrolled I took my enrollment test 20 out of 23 right . I am going to do some more tomorrow let me know what your experience is of this new ARG. Is it making you look forward to the DVD and Blu Ray release? Are you getting anxious for the new season?

Let me Just Saying….

Well like most of you, we don’t have alot of time to watch our favorite TV show LIVE. So we record them and watch them later. So what show do you have to watch LIVE and can’t wait for? For me its LOST and only LOST. Now I can’t say that I don’t watch it later but I have to watch it Live. Just the feeling of watching it Live is like a drug. The way it was when I was a boy and didn’t have a VCR or DVD or HULU. We live in a time where we have to have it when we WANT IT. Is this good or bad?

One thing I hate most about the DVR is the ratings. Nielsen should change the way that they do ratings but we can’t leave Hollywood or the Entertainment world to keep up with the world of technology like we do. So we need to get behind a change in the ratings goto http://en-us.nielsen.com/contact and let them know we want a change. It’s up to us the save our favorite shows from being canceled for low ratings. When we know that DVR views are not being counted.

Well did they get them right? Sound off with you thoughts!!

I thought in large that got it right, but I still don’t understand how “Mad Men” a show that nobody watchs wins anything. Maybe it’s a good show but come on guys lets choose something that has a following. Maybe I am just bias and LOVE “LOST” but a show that has a cult following like it does should have an award over a show that most people can’t even watch if you don’t have AMC.
